So You’re Out Of Ideas…
It happens to all of us. Inspiration runs out. Business stalls. Things are going nowhere. Don't despair! We're here to infuse your day with some great ideas to inspire creative thinking. So next time you're stuck...

Walk Away.

Literally. Stop what you're doing. Turn off the computer, put away your list and take yourself outside. Give yourself 20 to 30 minutes to just walk and enjoy being outside, no matter what the weather is like. Most importantly, don't bring your phone or any music to listen to. Look around and appreciate where you are -  and enjoy the silence of being alone with your thoughts.

Vent To A Colleague or Friend.

Use the people around you as a sounding board for your frustrations. That's what friends are for. They say that it's always easier to clean someone else's house. Chances are, the people you talk to have been in similar places themselves, and they probably have some insight to offer. You may also be too close to your frustration to solve the problem. Sometimes it takes an extra pair of eyes or ears.

Change The Scenery

Mix things up by finding a new place to work. Do you have an office? Find somewhere you can sit outside. If you usually base your operations from home, try out a few hours at the library or a coffee shop. Determine how you can change your work environment to best suit you.

Surf The Web For Inspiration.

From Pinterest to Instagram to individual websites, there are enough men and women succeeding in this world to give you inspiration for years! Search for agents in other cities or find an agent in town who you admire and consider how their approach to business can change the way you operate.

Take the day off.

If you've got pressing matters to attend to, this won't work for you. But if you've got the time, take it. Give yourself a break, whether it's taking care of household tasks, reading a good book, or just relaxing all day. We all need time to relax and rejuvenate, and if you're unbalanced you won't make any progress.
